Marvin Elmo Reynolds, 69, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center.
Born on February 11, 1957, Marvin was the beloved son of the late Elmo Virgil Reynolds and Melba Jean Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmo Reynolds, and his mother, Melba Reynolds.
Mavin proudly served his country for four years in the United States Marine Corps. His time in the Marines reflected his deep sense of duty, strength of character, and commitment to serving others — qualities that remained with him throughout his life.
He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted spouse, Mary Jo Reynolds of 50 years; his son, Jason Reynolds; and his daughter, Lisa (Dean) Bowman. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Lily and Waylon, who brought immense joy to his life. Marvin also leaves behind his cherished pet dog, Roxy, whose loyal companionship meant so much to him.
He is survived by his sisters, Cindy (John) Wilson and Bonnie Edwards; four nieces; two nephews; and numerous cousins, grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
Marvin will be remembered for his steadfast love for his family, his dedication to those he cared about, and the quiet strength that defined his life. His legacy of love, service, and devotion will live on in all who knew him.
A Private Graveside Service will be held.
