Diane Carol (Sechrist) Ross

Diane Carol Sechrist Ross, age 56, of Mount Airy, passed away on February 26, 2026 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

Diane was born on September 15, 1969 in Surry County to the late Bobby Ray Sechrist and Mary Frances Quesinberry Sechrist. She was a devoted mother, cherished friend, and loved deeply by her family. Diane’s kind heart and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Justin Chandler and Travis Chandler; her stepsister, Carrie Beck; two special friends, James Oakley and Sean Burke; and a special friend, Pattie Rosetta Ayers. She is also survived by her special aunt, Nancy Pruitt; her aunt, Bridget Pruitt; her uncle, Clinton (Betty) Quesinberry; her uncle, Robert (Delilah) King; two special nieces, Hope King and Dawn Beck; and countless cousins and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Mt. Airy Dialysis Center for their loving and compassionate care throughout the years.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
